The context behind this brief was to reimagine your hometown through colour. I choose Leeds as it is a vibrant, historical and cultural city. Specific areas of Leeds stood out to me such as the design, hospitality, music and history. I decided to pick out these societal pockets and create a colour coded identity in both tangible and digital outcomes.
I created a map which would be available in various hotspots around Leeds such as museums, cafe’s, galleries and shops. People would be able to access the maps and download the app to view different areas which suited their interests. Both the app and illustrated map would show walking distances and areas near by through colour, integrating Leeds as a city.
